Vi fick ett mail: Kan ni rita en kudde för 600 personer? Med detta blev vi inbjudna till evenemanget Notch 09 i Peking. Notch är en årlig Nordisk-Kinesisk festival för konst, arkitektur, design, mode och film, där vi blev tillfrågade att göra ett artificiellt landskap för en "sleeping concert". Vårt svar var omedelbart. Kudden måste ta formen av Gotland, där specifika delar av ön ger upphov till olika möjligheter att sitta, ligga och vila. A mail came to us: Can you design a pillow for 600 people? With this we got invited to the Notch 09 event in Beijing. Notch is a Nordic Chinese yearly festival in the fields of art, architecture, design, fashion and film, for which we got asked to make an artificial landscape to relax in at the evening "sleeping concert". Our response was immediate. The pillow has to take the form of the Swedish island of Gotland, taking up different features of the island, creating a variety of sitting and laying conditions.
